Smoggy Skies Spreading Gloom: A Long-Term Gloom Report

When it comes to the effects of air pollution on our mental health, there's no laughing matter. According to a recent study, long-term exposure to air pollution is linked to an increased risk of developing depression and anxiety. But we can try to make light of the situation, right?

Living in a city can be stressful at times, but now we know that pollution is only making it worse! If your daily commute is taking a toll on your mental health, maybe it’s time to invest in a gas mask and call it a fashion statement.

It might also be a good idea to get creative with your outdoor plansto try to lower your exposure to air pollution. Instead of a jog around the neighborhood, how about a jog around your own apartment? Bonus points if you manage to get your neighbors to join in.

Look on the bright side: once you’ve cut back on your pollution exposure, you can start to reap the rewards of a cleaner, healthier lifestyle. That includes improved mental health, too! If you need an extra reason to stay away from air pollution, there you go.
