Lonely Black-Coffee Drinkers Rejoice - You're The 20% at Starbucks!
March 5th, 2023

Have you ever noticed the weird looks you get when you order a straight-up black coffee at Starbucks? It's like you're an outcast of the coffee world: no milk, no creamer, no pile of sugar on top--just a splash of hot water on top of some dark, roasted grounds.
But why do we get such odd glances from the other customers? Could it be that 80% of Starbucks customers like to gum up their drinks with milk, sweetener, syrups, and other stuff? Or could it be that black-coffee drinkers feel particularly lonely and left out in their barren, dark-roasted beverage?
Well, whatever it is, it's clear that black-coffee drinkers are a minority when it comes to the Starbucks crowd. So the next time you venture into a Starbucks to grab a cup of the dark stuff, don't worry about those weird looks from the soy-milk-with-six-shots-of-caramel-syrup crowd. Just stir in a few extra grounds and forget about it--at least that way you won't feel so left out!
