As we all know, diet, exercise, and sleep are the trifecta of health. But now, it seems, there's a 4th component to this holy troika....socialization! Yes, that's right, you can't just be a hermit on your couch and expect to live a long and healthy life. You need to get out there and interact with people in order to ensure a long and happy life.
But don't take my word for it - a new study from the National Institute of Aging has stated that loneliness and social isolation can be just as detrimental to your health as smoking. So if you want to avoid an early demise, please, reach out to your friends and family and make sure you are not dying of loneliness!
It's a lot easier said than done, I know. But if you really want to extend your years on this earth, it's more important than ever that you find time for social activities. So put down your phone and start talking to people - your life literally depends on it!
